Nepal’s first formal state apology to the Dalit community within 15 days for historical caste-based discrimination and exclusion. This landmark step forms a key part of the 100-point governance reform agenda approved shortly after taking office. The young administration is also pushing aggressive reforms, including a ban on partisan student politics in campuses and depoliticisation of bureaucracy and teachers to promote clean and efficient governance. २०२६ अप्रिल १ मा प्रधानमन्त्री बालendra “बालेन” शाहको सरकारले दलित समुदायप्रति ऐतिहासिक जातीय विभेद र बहिष्कारको लागि १५ दिनभित्र नेपालको पहिलो औपचारिक राज्य माफी दिने प्रतिबद्धता दोहोर्‍याएको छ। यो महत्वपूर्ण कदम पदभार ग्रहणपछि स्वीकृत १०० बुँदे सुशासन सुधार एजेन्डाको मुख्य अंश हो। युवा सरकारले क्याम्पसमा दलगत विद्यार्थी राजनीति निषेध र नोकरशाही तथा शिक्षकहरूलाई राजनीतिमुक्त बनाउने आक्रामक सुधार पनि अघि बढाइरहेको छ।
