The Balen Shah administration has launched a massive infrastructure project to enhance provincial connectivity through a network of high-speed expressways. This project, titled the National Connectivity Initiative, aims to link all provincial capitals with Kathmandu and major industrial hubs within the next three years. The government is prioritizing the use of advanced engineering techniques and local materials to ensure durability and cost-effectiveness.
