The Balen Shah administration has unveiled a blueprint for developing five smart cities across different provinces to manage rapid urbanization and promote sustainable living. These cities will feature integrated public transport systems, smart grids for energy efficiency, and extensive green spaces. The government is collaborating with international urban planning experts to ensure that these cities are resilient to natural disasters and climate change. By creating modern urban hubs, the administration aims to reduce the pressure on Kathmandu and stimulate economic activities in other regions. This project is a cornerstone of the government's long-term vision for a modernized and well-planned Nepal. बालेन शाह प्रशासनले तीव्र सहरीकरण व्यवस्थापन गर्न र दिगो जीवनयापनलाई प्रवर्द्धन गर्न विभिन्न प्रदेशहरूमा पाँचवटा स्मार्ट सिटीहरू विकास गर्ने खाका सार्वजनिक गरेको छ। यी सहरहरूमा एकीकृत सार्वजनिक यातायात प्रणाली, ऊर्जा दक्षताका लागि स्मार्ट ग्रिड र व्यापक हरियाली क्षेत्रहरू हुनेछन्। यी सहरहरू प्राकृतिक प्रकोप र जलवायु परिवर्तनप्रति लचिलो छन् भन्ने सुनिश्चित गर्न सरकारले अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय सहरी योजना विज्ञहरूसँग सहकार्य गरिरहेको छ। आधुनिक सहरी केन्द्रहरू सिर्जना गरेर प्रशासनले काठमाडौंको चाप कम गर्ने र अन्य क्षेत्रहरूमा आर्थिक गतिविधिहरूलाई प्रोत्साहित गर्ने लक्ष्य राखेको छ। यो आयोजना आधुनिक र सुव्यवस्थित नेपालका लागि सरकारको दीर्घकालीन सोचको आधारशिला हो।
